Airport Check-in
It is recommended to check-in at the designated airport a minimum of 3 hours prior to flight departure time due to clearance/processing time. Passengers arriving may be denied boarding. All flight times are subject to change with or without prior notice. It is suggested to visit the airline website before leaving for the airport to confirm departure time. Prior to return, arrival times and terminal locations should be confirmed by visiting the airline website if being picked up at the airport.
Important Note: It is suggested that travel documents be carried in a safe place (pocket, purse, carry-on) and never packed in checked luggage.
Baggage Allowance
Please check with the airline’s website for current baggage allowance and restrictions, for both checked and carry-on baggage since security regulations are constantly changing.
For carry-on items, liquids, gels and aerosols must be placed in containers with a maximum capacity of 100 ml (3.4 ounces). These containers must be placed in a clear, resealable plastic bag (available at the airport if needed) with a capacity of no more than 1 liter. One bag per passenger is permitted.
Passport/Entry
Canadians must present a passport that must be valid for a minimum of 3 months after your arrival in Cancun, Mexico and have 1 blank page. Please check your passports to ensure they do not expire prior to travel. For all other nationalities, we recommend you consult the applicable country’s immigration website for entry requirements.
Travel Medical Coverage
It is strongly recommended when travelling outside of Canada to have out-of-country health insurance. Please check your policy for coverage. In the event there is no coverage, Travel Medical Insurance can be purchased through 3rd party insurance companies (i.e. Blue Cross). For any questions or concerns, please contact Air Support by email at airsupport@fenixevent.ca.

Some exchange offices also accept Canadian dollars, though exchange rates may vary.
We recommend that you notify your bank before travelling to Mexico if you plan to use your credit and/or ATM cards. For the current exchange rate, please visit: https://wise.com/gb/currency-converter/cad-to-mxn-rate using CAD to Mexican Peso (MXN).
Electricity
Playa Mujeres, Mexico operates on the same 110-volt/60-Hz current as Canada, so electrical converters are not required.
