Travel Information

Please do not book your own flight. Share your flight preferences through the registration form, and our Air Travel Team will prepare a proposed itinerary for your review and approval in January.

Full Name on Your Travel Documentation
When registering, it is important that the name provided is exactly as it appears on your passport or government issued ID for air travel. The first name, middle name or initial (if applicable), and last name on your ticket must EXACTLY match what is listed on your passport or government issued ID or boarding may be denied.

Please note: When you receive your airline tickets, the name field may be cut off or not reflect what was provided at registration. This is simply a limitation of the airline ticketing system, and you can rest assured that the airline has the correct information.

Flight Upgrades
Canadian and U.S. offices will be travelling economy class; those travelling from the London, U.K., office may travel business class.

If you would like to upgrade to business class using your points or upgrade credits, please contact the Blakes Travel Conceirge at
airsupport@fenixevent.ca or 1 (866) 307-8085 x 210. Business-class upgrades will be based on availability at the time of registration and will be at your own cost.

Travel/Information Package
Your travel documents and information package will be sent to you at your Blakes email address approximately two weeks prior to travel.

Ground Transfers
Round-trip ground transportation from the airport in Toronto and in your home city is your responsibility and can be expensed upon your return.

Online Flight Check-In
Most airlines will allow you to check in online for your flight 24 hours prior to departure. Please check your travel itinerary for the reference number, which is required to access your reservation.

Passport/Visa
It is your responsibility to ensure you have the proper documents for travel within Canada. Please contact the appropriate consulate to ensure you have all the correct documentation required for travel.

For International Travellers:
If you are awaiting a new passport, you are still able to register. When providing your passport information, please enter ABC123 and add a note in the comment section that you will be getting a new passport. Your passport number will be modified at a later date; however, it is critical that you register with the exact name spelling you will be using on the new passport as it needs to match your airline ticket.

Baggage
As rules and regulations continue to change regarding baggage allowances and fees, we recommend you visit your airline website to view the current baggage allowances in advance of travelling. Please also ensure you do not pack your travel documents, tickets or valuables with your checked baggage. We recommend you always carry them with you while travelling. Unless insured, your baggage is transported at your own risk.

Frequent Flyer Number
When providing your frequent flyer number, please ensure the name on your frequent flyer card matches exactly what is on your passport or it will not be processed by the airline.
