Lamya Arman has been a clinical editor for the Canadian Pharmacists Association since 2012, working to produce drug monographs and therapeutic content aimed at supporting the provision of quality drug therapy for Canadians.

Immersed in pharmacy from day one, she followed her father’s footsteps into the career. She attended his alma matter and earned her PharmD degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Shortly after graduating, she moved to Ottawa and went on to work as a community pharmacist before joining the CPhA team as a clinical editor. Her principal content areas include psychiatry and neurology. She maintains her active practice license by working part-time in both community and hospital (outpatient) pharmacy.
