Darrell Pasloski served as Premier for the Government of Yukon from 2011-2016. While in office, Darrell concurrently held the positions as Minister of Finance and Minister of Executive Council Office.

During his time as Premier, Darrell Co-Chaired Canada’s Premiers Health Care Innovation Working Group that focused on innovation to enhance provincial and territorial capacity to better meet existing and emerging challenges in Canada’s health-care system. Darrell also Chaired the Council of the Federation. Responsibilities include chairing meetings, taking lead on public policy issues and engaging with all levels of government.

Darrell was a licensed pharmacist with extensive retail pharmacy experience, including owning two Whitehorse pharmacies. In 2009 he received the Yukon Chamber of Commerce “Business Person of the Year” Award.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan and ICD.D Corporate Governance from the University of Toronto – Rotman School of Management and Institute of Corporate Directors.

Darrell is currently on the Board of Directors for Green Shield Canada and is on the Audit, Risk Management & Investment committee and Corporate Governance, Conduct Review & Ethics committee.

Darrell’s free time includes volunteering, golfing, hunting, hiking, enjoying grandbabies and traveling with wife Tammie.
