Based on her personal story as a corporate lawyer, Dr. Hadiya Roderique discusses barriers and challenges to diversity and inclusion, with a focus on race, gender, and intersectionality. She addresses common arguments against diversity and inclusion and counters them. As a researcher at the University of Toronto, Dr. Roderique’s talks are informed by data and a strong familiarity with and grasp of the literature on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
