Joanne began her career at Apotex in 1998, holding roles in every aspect of Human Resources which has given her a deep understanding of our business and culture. In addition to overseeing the Global HR function, Joanne is responsible for Global Business Services, our shared services function located in Mumbai, India.
Prior to this role, Joanne was Vice-President, Global Talent Management and played a pivotal role in strengthening our Performance Management and Talent Development approach, and also led the development of our Talent Management Strategy and Leadership Framework. In addition, Joanne is one of the executive sponsors of our Women in Leadership program.
As CHRO Joanne’s focus is on developing talent strategies that support the organization's strategic direction and operational activities, ensure business continuity, foster a culture aligned with our values, and enrich the employee experience and engagement.
Outside of Apotex, Joanne is a board member on a volunteer board focused on senior’s integrated care and independence. Joanne holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfred Laurier University.
